FAQs

What areas are your services available?

1948 Productions is based in Philadelphia & available everywhere! Whether you are planning a wedding in center city Philly, NYC, in the PNW or overseas 1948 can be there! Travel and accommodations are worked into your custom package. To learn more email me at 1948productions@gmail.com.

Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

Absolutely! In fact, I am a part of the community. As a non-binary person myself I am proud to say that 1948 Productions is an LGBTQ+ friendly Philadelphia wedding videography business. I love love and love to capture it in the many forms it exists.

When is the best time to book?

Honestly, once you find a videographer who fits your style and needs.

Will it be a big production?

No! The method behind 1948 Productions is capturing a day true to our couples. Meaning minimal, if any, direction from the videographer. Candid moments, real laughter and love lead the way in 1948 films.

Do we get to meet you prior to the wedding?

I love meeting my couples! In fact, before anything is signed or booked I set up a consultation call so we can meet over video and get to know one another. It is important to be comfortable with the people that are a part of your wedding day. If you are local we can meet for coffee or if you are a bit farther away Zoom is my best friend.

Do you record vows?

Absolutely! I will coordinate either with your planner or you to put a lav mic on a spouse or the officiant. It captures everything during your ceremony to be used in your wedding film.

What about private vows? Will you be there when we read them?

That is totally up to you! More often than not private vows are going to be your only true moment alone until the reception is over. With that in mind I let my couples know that so long as one partner has a mic, my presence is absolutely not required. It is your day and I am a firm believer on kicking everyone out of the room and soak in the moment one on one. Also, you don’t have to record your vows at all if you don’t wish to.
